A bit about Nelephant
Nelephant Montessori School is a not-for-profit parent co-operative school that is committed to providing a true Montessori experience for young children.
We provide Toddler and Casa Programs for ages 18 months to 6 years. This period of time in a child’s development is crucial, and where they begin their educational experience can literally change what type of human being they become. An authentic Montessori education can ensure that the whole child’s needs are nurtured; mind, body and spirit.
Our community is what sets us apart
As a not-for-profit parent-run cooperative, Nelephant has a community of actively involved families working hard to ensure that quality of education comes first.
Small class ratios and accredited teachers
Our classes have an 8:1 student to teacher ratio and all lessons are guided by Accredited Montessori teachers and assistants.
Rich, balanced curriculum
The Montessori learning experience comes from five core areas of the classroom that the child will work within: Practical life, language, math, sensorial and cultural. As well as visitors from the community, such as the Fire Department and Niagara Art Gallery.
We are CCMA Accredited
As a Canadian Council of Montessori Administrators Accredited School our curriculum is approved and certified authentic to Montessori philosophy and teachings.
